Master Cutlers 2019

Posted on February 18 2019

We are already cooking up some great ways to raise money for the 2019 Master Cutler’s Challenge.

The popular annual fundraiser sees competing businesses taking a £50 investment and turn it as much money as possible by whichever ingenious or just plain crazy way they can think of.

This year the Challenge is supporting Sheffield’s St Luke’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice – and within less than 24 hours of the official launch at the historic Cutler’s Hall we were at our ovens for our own charity Bake Off.

“This is the first time we have taken part in the Master Cutler’s Challenge and we are determined to make it a successful debut,” says our Operations Director Amy Ryan.

“The Bake Off is just the start of what we hope will be a busy schedule of events over the next few months.

“One of our next challenges will be a static bike ride covering the distance from Sheffield to all our other sites across the UK and when you consider that’s everywhere from Swansea and Bournemouth to Newcastle and up to Scotland, that’s going to be a lot of miles – and hopefully a lot of money for St Luke’s and Rotherham Hospice.”

Look out for further details of the sort of thing we’ll be doing to raise money for these two great charities. There’s bound to be something you can do to help make it a success!
